Spydus Mobile is a free app, which lets you access Stockport Library Services and manage your membership any time. You can use the APP to search for books and reserve items, you can keep track of your library account and manage the items you've got out on loan. You can use Spydus Mobile to scan barcodes on books while you're out and about, and then search for available copies at your local Stockport library. You can also see your own borrower barcode within the APP. Search in Google Play Store or the APP Store for Spydus Mobile and download to your device. Click on the icon once downloaded. Click to open Spydus Mobile. Click Select Library, tap in the box and type in Stockport. A list of libraries will appear as you type. Click on Stockport libraries from the list. Click on the log in button. You then need to enter both your library membership number, which will begin with D without spaces in the borrower ID box. Then input your four digit pin in the password box. Next, click on Select a branch and select one from the list displayed To finish click on log in. Your account page is displayed showing personal details, alerts, loans, reservations and history sections. Where you see an arrow, you can click on these links to take you into this section. You can return to the main menu button at any time by clicking on the three lines in the top left hand corner of the screen. To renew items, go into your current loans. You can renew individual, multiple or all items unless they are reserved for someone else, or there is another issue with your account which may block this process. To renew individual items, you can click on the item in the list and select Renew or, by clicking on edit at the top right of the current loans page, you can select multiple items individually. Click on renew or click on select all at the bottom and click on Renew. Reserving items. Select Discover from the main menu, then enter one or two key words. For example, the author's surname and a word from the title. You can limit the branches or leave it at the default All Branches Click on Search. Results are then displayed. Click on any of the results. You can then reserve them. You then need to select a pickup location from the list of Stockport libraries. Click on reserve, then confirm. You will be notified when the item is waiting at the library of your choice.
