Hi everyone. Welcome back to Stockport Libraries Storytime. Today's Story is called I can roar like a dinosaur. It's about Karl Newson, Ross Collins and published by Macmillan Children's Books. I can roar like a dinosaur. No, you can't! Your teeny tiny titchy witchy. you cant scare me. Oh yes, I can. I'm a dinosaur squeak. Oh, no! I think I've lost my dino roar. my scariness! My me. If only I had, Ha ha How to roar like a dinosaur. Step one stand like a dinosaur put your arms out front. Like so. Now move your head from side to side. Ready! Steady! Stop! You like a parsnip. Let's try Step two. Think, dinosaur! Wear a toothy smile like So, arms out, now Shake your tail! Ready? Steady stop! You like a coconuts and A bobble hat. Right Step three the roar! Arms out! Show your teeth! Shake your tail! more Now stomp your feet and here it comes. Ready, Steady, Uh huh. Chatter, chatter, Grunt growth cover! Those are the worst roars I have ever, ever heard. Well, you can't roar like a dinosaur either. I could do if I wanted to. It's easy. Ready, Steady, ROAR! the silly old bunch. Don't they know it's rude to stare? And why did no one tell me there's a chicken standing there? I'll bet you'd like to roar like me. Why not give this a try. With a bit of practice you could roar that cluck Goodbye. Now I must be going time for dinner. Cheery Oh! no, I'm not a dinosaur. that really was absurd. I'm up a tree. It's plain to see. i am ah ha a bird! Silly little mouse. so for our first song today, we're gonna sing row, row, row your boat. so if you're ready, row row row your boat gently down the stream Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily Life is but a dream Row, row, Row your boat gently down the stream If you see a crocodile don't forget Scream Aah! and we will have a lookout for a dinosaur today instead a lion! row row row your boat gently to the shore, If you see a dinosaur, don't forget to roar raaah! We'll keep our eyes out for the polar bear. Row, row, row your boat gently down the river. If you see a polar bear, don't forget to shiver. We look out for the little mouse. Row, row, row your boat gently down the creek If you see a little mouse, don't forget to squeek! squeek squeek lastly, we'll go through the puddle. row row row your boat gently through the puddle. If you see someone you know stop and give them a cuddle! and lastly we will sing round and round the garden like a teddy bear. so you can get your grown up to tickle you or you could tickle your grownups.
