Hello and welcome along to the Live Well Guide on What's On and directories that we've got as part of our offer. So the What's On Guide is a really useful tool you can find out at stockport.gov.uk and the website with the What's On aspect has got loads of options for all residents in all sorts of different categories. Different categories you can see on the right there, you can click through those to target your search relating to a special interest that the resident's got for you. You can just scroll down to the bottom of the What's On and find out what's on today. It's really easy to use, very visual. When you click on one of those tiles it will take you through to more information behind each tile on how to access that group, where it is, how much it might be, which organisation is running it. There's lots of categories to choose from, they're easy to identify there with the icons, dead, dead simple. During a Making Every Contact Count conversation you can suggest and signpost residents to something that is most appropriate for them, that they've got an interest in, a category that's suitable for them or their family. And under each of those tiles the details of the event are there, listed along with a map, any charges, any application process, very, very easy to find what that resident might want and they can then make the decision to go and access that group if they want to. We don't make any recommendations, we're purely giving information that's publicly held that people can go and access. We're facilitating them onto that What's On guide so they can do the research themselves. It's very easy to search by dates, you can see on the video on the right hand side. You can put a category in and certain dates, so that's very useful for holiday periods for families. Half term for example, you can search through for a weekend if people are working, events that are more leisure based, events that are around our markets and events in the town centre. Click through to find the organisation, and often it's a social media or web page that is owned by the organisation that's putting on the event. So you know the information is nice and accurate and you can click through and double check on their social media if you choose to do so. Very easy to search between dates, very easy to identify it within a category, really super useful tool to make sure people can find the event that's useful for them and their family. On some pages within our Live Well offers, there are preset embedded What's On guides, they're from the same information. So for example, in the Family Hubs Live Well web pages, the What's On guide at the bottom is already preset to the Children and Families offer. So you can just scroll through knowing that you're already on that right page with the activities that are already set for that grouping. It's the same for adults and it's the same for Healthy Stockport, they have preset embedded What's On guides at the bottom of the pages from their Live Well pages. Let's not forget our directories. We've got six of them there, Children's, SEND, Adults, Groups, Communities and Finance Again another tool that is absolutely vital to make Live Well offers come alive for our residents. So don't forget to promote them, they're really really good. The directories make our offer really neighbourly, include all the amazing voluntary, community, faith, social enterprise groups and clubs, a real diversity of offer but they've also got many of our service offers on there as well. You can search them with keywords and search all of the directories or you can go into each section and explore the offers very easily through the tiles that are very clearly marked on top. You can explore the directories using subject fields and a map as well so if you want to identify issues that organisations that deliver in a certain area you can use the map function to go and zoom in on an area and find out what's going on in someone's local neighbourhood. I'm doing it on the right hand side there you can see. Zoom in, use the scroll and pinch function on the map on your phone to find out what's going on in a certain area. I found Beacon Counselling, it delivers on Hillgate, you click through, it's got all the details that take you to the website of that organisation, the Facebook site of that organisation, their contact details and their up-to-date details on their delivery, that's where they're kept.
